Recommend me some games...

Okay, so I've finally succumbed and bought a wii. So far I've got Wii Sports and Wii Fit with the balance board. What else is worth having? I'm looking for games that either work well with a group or are unique to the Wii.

Resi4 is the only game I could recommend for the Wii. MK is okay but not a patch on earlier ones, and even Zelda wasn't as fun as it should've been. Other than that, there's not really a whole lot out there.

Mario Galaxy is supposed to be good, but I've not played that.

call of duty 3 and resident evil 4

Platform = Mario Galaxy
FPS = COD3
Racing = Mario Kart
Party Games = Rayman Raving rabbid series Great at parties
Bit of gory fun = Madworld
Wii Fit = its good and the balance board works with alot of other games now

I've got COD3 & 4 for the 360, so I'm not looking to duplicate games I already own.

I'm most interested in games that take advantage of the wii's different control method, and therefore something I can't get on my Xbox.

Have played Mario Kart and wasn't blown away by it...

Mario galaxy has a bit of swirling the wiimote about, a bit of using it to balance on top of things, pointing to pick up things etc, it's definitely worth picking up.

Zelda is good the little touches like the fishing and the crossbow is fun.

No more heroes is rather good as a swordfighting game as is bleach: shattered blade.

Redsteel is a release game but is really good fun and under £10 the only thing you will find slightly oddd is that it reminds you of goldeneye ALOT buts tis just the same ingame font style.

Ghost Squad is a good Direct from arcade transfer which is good fun and if you pick up a V2 copy can use the wii balance board for the crouch lean round corner functions.

House of the Dead: Overkill. Need i say more its house of the dead has a Max payne style bullet time called "Slow-Mofo Time"

Have you played Resi Evil: Umbrella Chronicles? if not DON'T! It's a house of the dead rip off, but the camera moves about so so so slow you actually lose interest whilst the character is walking round a corner
