Red Kitted MK2 - Canvey Way

Post by Marc »

Just 10 mins ago I was passed by a stunning red mk2 leaving the island.

I was acknowledged (by her, I think) but I failed to react in time so I just wanted to come on here and apologise!!!

It's not often anyone bothers to bat an eyelid in my experience... :?

Bomex front lip and skirts with black wheels with red lip?

I've seen it driven by a bloke as well, lives around Mornington road area I think. At least I've seen it parked up near garages round there.

I got them off Ebay, they are Phoenix Power rear splitters. I then sent them to Russ at Revision 6 who tidied them up and he now sells them as Type P rear splitters. I think he charges about £90 for the pair? Dead easy to fit.

So do you live on the Island? Have to meet up with me, Kyle and Marc!

How about at the next Bluewater meet? I think there was one this Tuesday so it won't be for another coupla weeks. Either that or we could just arrange something local on here.

Local is better for me as I work late Tuesday nights. Any ideas anyone?

Well there's the usual haunts on the Island.. the ¼ mile (Northwick), the Clinic carpark on the one-way system.. would be interesting to see the Nova'boys' faces when half a dozen MR2s turn up!

Either that or we could make it slightly more official and do a proper meet in a local pub, etc - and I'll announce it on the other forums.

Matt,

Could have been me or Rhys - check profiles? Also I'm hoping to pre-arrange some kind of meet on this thread, which I'll then transfer to a proper announcement.

So I'm after ideas / responses / etc on the subject! :P

Matt, check our profiles, I have a NUR Spec and bodykit so you can tell the difference between me and Marc :D

Southend on Sat night? My missus would kill me! (and forever ridicule me)

Pub sounds good, Haystack maybe? Or the Lobster smack for it's carpark?

Alright Rhys, rub it in!! :P So I just have a plain old boring looking car. [-(

Southend.. hmm.... last time I went to Southend I was pulled over for noise pollution. I've never been prouder of the install! :D

Lobster Smack's good, bit out of the way though - I was thinking somewhere on a main route, like the Haystack but maybe somewhere that has a carpark!

How about the Oysterfleet? Not the usual place to go but it has a pub and a car park. Just a thought :)

Yeah Marc, you need to get a bodykit of some sort on there, but not Bomex! ;)
