[Mk2] [Turbo] Slight misfire any suggestions

When my rev 3 turbo is idling the revs move just a wee tad and i mean a wee tad from say 1000 to 1050 rpm and theres a noticable wee spit misfire...

any ideas where to start to remove this issue

Firstly... are you scottish ??!

Sounds like a plug change needed ! I've had this problem on a couple of cars and all been resolved with plug replacement !

I have this exact same problem. I used to have big misfire issues all the way through the rev range, I'm now on new plugs, rotor arm and dizzy cap and now just have this odd blip at idle sometimes. Only thing left on mine is leads...

If its hunting slightly on idle its worth checking all the vacuum lines and if is a rev 1/2 then check all boost pipes for leaks.

If there is a split in any boost pipe or the map sensor pipe it will cause havoc with idle and running issues.

That's a good call, I blew the pipe off the dumpvalve once that connects it to the inlet manifold creating such a leak, and the car hunted between 1000-600 revs when idling. It's not what I'm experiencing now but it might be related to yours!
