I have one, I thought everyone did these days to be honest :)

Fun little toy, I was a Sega boy in the old days so things like Mario etc are all new to me now.

Obviously I couldn't possibly condone something like the R4 for stealing games rather than paying but I did buy an EDGE card to play backups of the games I have purchased as well as free games and MP3s etc O:)

I just finished Professor Layton, that absorbed 10 hours of my life that I'll never get back.

Ive had 3, got the first one at the same time i got my PSP and the girlfriend stole that one so i got another for myself. Then i won one at a christmas party but traded it in for some PS3 games.

I too have an Edge card for playing MP3's and backup games.

If you do go for an R4 be careful - lots of copies around.

Some don't support larger storage cards either.

i wouldn't worry about if it's genuine or not as long as it works. I have a 4gb card in mine, and can't think of why anyone would need more, a lot of ds games are horrendous 8-[

the games can be annoying to download tho, most of them are put up in collections of 10 or 100 or 200 and the seeds can be pretty hit and miss

never really got into using newsgroups and ftps, i remember about 5 years ago reading up about NGs but then torrents hit big time and just made it easier

newsgroups are 10x better then torrents! full speed straight away and no uploading needed, i pay £11 a month which gives me 190+ retention and 20 bots

I walk to my local shop and pay for my games legally. I always did like to stick out from the crowd though. ;)
