guitar hero wii vs xbox

Post by matt_mr2t »

Has any one got/played it on both consoles? Is it just me or is it really nasty on the wii? It just seems so much easier to hit the notes on the xbox and no matter how hard you try on the wii it fluffs everything up. God forbid you try it on hard.

i have it on wii and 360, the wii is terribly out of sync you always have to calibrate it. 360 works great straight out the box

guitar hero world tour i got for christmas and i have been doing most of them on expert first go so i guess it is easier on world tour

I struggle on 3 and world tour and tbh just don't find it fun at all when you see your note lit but it doesn't play it.

The wii once i had calibrated my TV for lag no problems at all it was slightly out on a normal CRT tv but on the new LCD tv it was out hopelessly and the difference between me and my bro in law when he plays is alot too.

Graphically its not as polished as the other platforms but then its a guitar bar wih some moving dots and lines it doesnt need mad polished graphics just a kick ass sound.

Really glad others have noticed the same thing. I tried to calibrate it. It was slightly better but still like playing with broken fingers really.

Thread revival

My sister has bought a Wii and GH world tour (I told her to get a 360 or a Ps3 ](*,) )

Anyway she cant hear any noise etc when she' plays it ie she can hear the background noise and booing etc but no music.she is able to complete songs and even managed 98% and got a you rock. So as I was thinking calibrate, perhaps its something else :-k

I said to her Have you recalibrated it , yes she tells me but both are still at 0 (she has a seperate's system and a lcd tv)

Whats she doing wrong

I have this game on ps3 so dont have a clue what problems she's talking about
Mk1b White T-bar SC 1987, Mk1b White coupe Jan90, Mk1b White coupe Jan90 (spares), Mk1b Mica blue T-bar Mar90, Mk1b Mica blue T-bar,full climate control,Jan90, 5 mk1's :)

Only had the game for a few weeks and it's frickin awesome.

I've never noticed a timing issue on the Wii yet (most of hard completed on World Tour) but I do get annoyed when it just starts knocking your life down before you've even touched a button.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I just find that I KNOW I have hit the note yet it misses, I find it REALLY annoying. So much so that the last time I attempted to play it I just turned it off as I'd lost interest.

I can just play it on medium on the neices Wii yet have almost completed all of them on hard on the 360 which says it all really.

Sometimes I've failed before a note has even appeared on the screen.

Bloody frustrating.
