Santa Pod convoy

Post by Mark Edwards »

Gates open at 8.00 and those that have been before know, the queues for the track get long quickly so i think we should all be there soon after the gates open really. So here's my initial thought on time and stops along the way.

Leave Thurrock services at 6.15
Leave south mimms services at 6.45
Leave Toddington services at 7.30
Leave J15a services at 8.00

How does that sound to everyone? As usual, i'm open to change on these times, but really think we should be there early as last time a few people missed out on track time as it was already fully booked up.

It's that side we usually meet isn't it?? If so then yes mate. You going to be having the nitrous working on the day?

It should be mate. I went down to see the guy I bought it from to give it the once over, & he spotted some things that weren't done correctly (nitrous & petrol feeds the wrong way round) Also got the bottle filled. Just need to do a little testing tonight & away we go.
It is said you should pull the plugs every time you test, but with the charge cooler on it's not a 2 min job :(

Thing is, at Thor it made 81bhp more @.2bar less than without, so I want to tread carefully. The pipes were the wrong way round & if it is now more powerful I'm not sure my fueling can take it. I really need a Link or something :!:
