Fallout 3 PS3 Trophies

I've just been awarded my 1st trophy. Tenpenny tower. How do I get trophies for the rest of my achievements. Been through the list and I've done quite a bit of them but not been awarded the trophy for them.
I don't always have the ps3 hooked up to the net so that may have something to do with it. Thought when I did hook it up it would just update them all.
Any ideas other then starting the game from scratch?

try deleting the game data (NOT the save data)
then put the game back in and it should re sync them.
never had to do it my self but im assumin it would work. let me know if it does

How do I delete the game? Never done that before.

No point, just found this:

You didn't think it was going to be that easy, did you? The folks over at PS3 Fanboy are reporting that older PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Network games patched for support of the new trophy system, which goes live with firmware 2.40 this Wednesday, will not award trophies retroactively. The system will not scan older saves and award you trophies based on your progress. This means that you will essentially have to go back through and play the game all over again in order to earn your much-deserved Sony achievement points.





The reasoning behind this? I can go to several websites right now and download completed saves for any number of PS3 titles and pop them right onto my system, just like that. Suddenly everyone would have perfect award scores for everything, chaos would ensue, and eventually fans would burn Sony offices all over the world to the ground. Armageddon is not nearly as fun as it sounds.

Oh well.

How do I delete the game? Never done that before.

on the ps3 goto the part of the dash that has all the games (the part wheere u launch the game) then scroll to the top of it and there should be something saying game data
go into that and delete the fall out 3 game data. make sure its the game data tho and not the game save

I've earnt tropies on dead space which I completed and not played since getting fallout( I traded it in) So I'd say I got the update before. But does the ps3 need to be hooked up online to dish out the trophies? If so that may be why I don't have them.

The reason I think it has something to do with being online is I hooked it up online and left the cable in and started playing Fallout 3 and then once I'd done the tenpenny tower quest I got that trophy.

Fallout 3 didn't support trophies when released so if you started playing it straight away (and offline, you wouldn't have had the trophy patch in time) so you'll have to start over to get them all

Not making trophies retroactive is b0ll0x (and i think all patches have to get Sonys approval) games saves nowadays (after the firmware that introduced trophies) are linked to the PSN ID anyway so they can't be shared otherwise we'd all have hundreds off the net for games we didn't even own.

What was the point in that lol, other then to pee people off. I'm pee'd off enough that the game is now under £20 and went down to that price a few weeks after I bought it wasting a trade in

Well not sure when I'd play it again, I'm biding my time with it at the moment anyway before I do the last mission , so I can do the side quests.

Gonna go get resistance 2 and COD later so I won't be playing this again anytime soon after completing it lol.

Not too fussed really, I don't exactly have as much free time as a 13yr old kid to dedicate to getting 100% trophies. Plus I'm not that sad lol. I just expected it to award for those obviously completed.

apparently some people are experiencing problems with trophys.
me and my gf were playing little big planet in co op. both on the same ps3 but both logged into our own users.
i was gettin trophys but she wasnt. couldnt figure out why
