best bang for the buck is hid conversion.
Have come down in price quite a bit so more affordable.
Have you thought about these at all?? :thumleft:

I know it sounds daft, but are you sure it's not just your headlamp glass that needs a good clean?

These often get overlooked when the car is washed.

HID in stock lights will be cack. Get some RayBrig lights. Even with the supplied bulbs they are a massive improvement over stock (with uprated halfords bulbs). And with HIDs in they would be even better.

Like RedMR2 said... Have you cleaned the headlamp lenses?!

I made this mistake a couple of weeks ago! I'd been doing lots of motorway driving and wondered why I was finding it hard to see after a while!

I was about to buy a HID kit but thought I'd look at the lenses first and they were absolutely filthy!! Probably about 8 weeks worth of grime on there! Not good! It was like a thick grey film! I just used undiluted windscreen wash on them and it came off in seconds!

Good luck!

Did you change anything else like the reflecters or the lenses?

Im sure I read somewhere that thay are an MOT failiure as the lenses and reflecters are not designed for that type of light :-k

I don't need to MOT my car at all, but I wouldnt like to have them illegal 8-[

I may buy a set for that price and have them in the ever growing to do box :thumleft:

They shouldn't fail the MOT. Had my vectra MOT'd with mine in and nothing was said. I think the only issues that could arrise are A) They should be fitted to lights with a non-diffused glass. B) They should have washer jets fitted. C) The car should have auto level adjusters for when there is a load in the back of the car.

However, MOT stations aren't normally that picky.
