Received a pair of new handbrake cbles today to fix the morning frozen handbrake. Also got a new alternator belt as its randomly started slipping. :D Heres hoping its not such vicious weather on the weekend for me it fit the bits :D

ive done my handbrake cables recently :shock: everything i touched broke :lol: and that was just taking off the shield ! i am glad its done now , it took me a day to thore out afterwards . good luck, hope you have an easier time than me :thumleft:

Put it in just now, great. Lot more torque low down it feels and revs cleanly well into the solid red, think I only took it to about 7700rpm but it makes a good difference having the extra revs. Also raises the RPM point at which over run fuel cut switches, only advantage I can think of is making it smoother to drive. This is probably the reason the original owner experienced increased fuel consumption to normal.

On inspection its a "piggy backed" ECU with a 3rd daughter board aka Blitz, Mines, Tom's etc.

Did them today, not a hard job at all but the cold did get to me and so I need to put the undertray back on tomorrow. :thumleft:

yeah ! the cables are no problem really , it was just every srew on my udertray snapped :shock: so i was led on my back tapping new threads back in ! i was so damn cold . glad ya got it sorted :thumleft:

Now its wearing Century Motorsports Special Marangoni tyres :) they are grippy :D Lost the under trays in the snow the other day, will have to sort a replacement,.. aluninium panel I'm thinking?

Ordered a new master key \:D/ oh to be able to use the passenger door lock or open the boot with the key! what a novelty it'll be :D
