Been looking for a while at the site, so i thought i better sign up and start posting! :P

Looking to buy a MR2 Mark2 GT sometime in the future, well in a few months when the 2years NCB comes in (touch wood) as i'm only 20!

Any tips in what to look out for when buying?
I'd be going with a N/A so what are the possible routes to spice up the engine a bit?

Gonna buy some 17" Wolfrace Octanes and a Mongoose exhaust first, so what else woul you recommend?

Cheers, and Hi again :)

Hello, check the sections on this site, you can get agood idea of what to look for, i could spend all day telling you about what t look for, but you will get a better idea of looking for yourself. All depends on what your looking to spend on your n/a ! Mine will be up for sale soon as im looking for a turbo, so will keep you posted!

Ta lads :)

Been looking at a few MR2's today, and been reading up on the site, and am really into all this talk about beefing up MR2's with turbos and other such engine mods.
Been having a look at insurance companies too, and i've worked out i can stretch to a MR2 Turbo :D So i think i'll be on the lookout for one as soon as i can afford it, probably in a months or two's time!

Any tips on a turbo? Do alot of them come with the turbos knackered on them due to overranting?

Ta in advance, think i've chosen a quality club here. :)

i can stretch to a MR2 Turbo

Just make sure you can 'stretch' all the insurance payments, LOTS of petrol and everything else. They ain't cheap. If something goes mega wrong you don't wanna be stuck with a car you can't afford to fix.

best of luck tho 8)
