It uses the half life engine (counter strike). Its survivors (humans) vs infected (zombies). It's absolute madness. Best game i've played in ages. Easy to pick up great arcady feel.

most dissapointing game of the year IMO.

only played the demo and that sucked but i guess the full game could be better.

it just felt like any shooter with some kind of speed modifier so everythings really fast.

I thought it wasn't that amazing the demo, but playing the full game is a whole lot different trust me. The fact that on the full game you can play the infected is amazing. 3 different types of zombies you can spawn as with different pros and cons. When your the infected, you can see through walls so you can get ready for attacks etc. THen when you kill them all (or not) you swap sides so you become the survivors. Its a game where you really need people you know who give a xxxx cos then they can heal you and stick together otherwise its game over.

Which is why I put this post up to see if anyones playing it and after a game.

Played the demo, thought it was great, even as 1 player it was pretty frenetic - would also be great in co op. Especially setting off a car alwarm and legging it to leave you mate to be ripped to shreds.

Going to pick it up for Christmas if I can.

awesome game innit. Give us a shout when you get it if you fancy a game. Theres quite a few muppets who dont speak and just leg it all the time so you need to get a decent team etc.

played the demo and didnt realy like it but the full game seems alot better but its one of them games that I wouldnt pay full price for personally, will get it some day

Aye, I know what you mean. When I first played it, i didnt think it was anything special but i liked the concept of the multiplayer stuff so stuck with it. After a few hours im addicted once im used to the maps and how to control the infected characters. Top game.
