360 Vs PS3 Thread - Full & Final

I used my 360 last night as a divx player, which I was impressed with, especially since the last 2 divx players Ive bought seem to have gone out of date as they dont update yet the people that upload divx stuff keep updating their end and then it doesnt work any more, however Im hoping the xbox will

one problem with it though, I watched babylon AD, and it was fine, then Fred Claus, and the sound was a mile out, and switched it off and put it in one of the other divx players and the sound was fine?

One thing i always prefered was the xbox dash board as everything you needed was easy to find. Just spent the last 5 minutes trying to play an hd dvd from the new one and realised the playstation one is now better. Not because it's improved, but because they messed with the xbox one to much and made it worse.

Matty gota disagree with you on this one. The new 360 dash is definately better than the old one. Its change people dont like.

I went into zavvi yesterday and they are offering the xbox arcade for £97.18 but because of this they are not doing bundles but they do offer a pack which includes 4 games and a wireless controller for £32!

yea i know what a beta is. i was on the xbox live beta. ran perfectly. think thats a bigger project than home too.

Yep!....tried getting on it 6-7 times....gave up. Played Little Big Planet for awhile, dont like it. Looks ok, map editors are cool but the game is damn boring and repetative!

Yep!....tried getting on it 6-7 times....gave up. Played Little Big Planet for awhile, dont like it. Looks ok, map editors are cool but the game is damn boring and repetative!

I honestly can't see how the game is boring or repetitive. You need to try some interesting levels. I love the jail break type ones where you have to figure out how to progress.

In fact this game has more possibilities than any other I have played, so if anything there is no way it can be boring. Mind you it isn't bill's little planet I guess.

I know that NOW but I didnt at the time.
The old one was at the bottom of every screen along with the game so you couldnt fail to notice it. Now I had to flick through various pages to find it. It's a bloody mess IMO.

I have a simple mind. I like everything to be as EASY to use as possible.

Some people like something with 10 buttons. I like something with 1 button.

Same with menu's, I dont see the point in having different pages for things if you can put it on the same page.

LBP looked nice, just found it to be a boring platformer really. Responds WAAAY to slowly and its not responsive enough for the type of levels its got.

My mate has completed it (unlocked everything) and created quite a few levels of his own. We played through the 'best' levels of the single player game and tried out 4-5 of the levels others had made so I got a good view of what is has to offer.

My mate really liked it but said it can get very annoying. Looked nice just not my type of game, thats all.

I'm not a sony whore at all, i bought a 360 on release day and have had another 3 since.

I wonder if you'd like resistance on ps3 if you played it as it's a great game but on ps3.

I also never said you were anti sony, i said you were anti ps3 and that statement stands still
