Got this yesterday, and although it isn't bad it didn't make me think " OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING!!!"

If anything I came off it last night feeling a bit dissapointed with it. Thought it would have been better than what it was....

I felt the same after playing the first level mate....but after that everything is far better than the first game!

Multiplayer is amazing and EVERYTHING has been improved on.

Playing all the multiplayer maps and modes against the computer is excellent!

yep the first few levels didn't get me too excited, the more i played it tho the better it got

i was a little dissapointed to start but that soon changed when playing multiplayer all the new modes
the bots

just hope epic sort out the joining game time soon


i loved everysecond of the game just going back through insane now

This was an amazing co-op game again. Near the end on that huge monster was amazing.

Is it just me that hated multiplayer?
Everyone seems to run around with shotguns, and god damn I hate up close fighting. The lancer should be more powerful, not an entire clip for the guy to still run up and then shotgun your head off.

Single player was as epic of a storyline as the original though, and the sinking of Jacinto cutscene with the water streaming in was just beautiful.

people used to just dive and roll at you then pop off a shot with the shotgun and they cant do that anymore.

me and my crew went through it on hardcore, enjoyed it so much that we went through it on insane the next night, it was by no means a simple task and without a good team with good com you have no chance

Dont laugh.......... completed GOW2 on normal, just going through now on hardcore. Im stuck right near the start on 'Rolling Thunder' where you ride betty and get hit with 'nemacyst mortars'. Whats the easiest way to get through the mortars part?

On normal i used the shotgun as the turret takes to long to get going! Any help greatly appreciated?

PS - I want to complete on single player so no co-op (also im to tight to re-new my Gold subscription anyway - i didnt play that much till GOW2 came out LOL)

Yep, just use the turret on em mate, keep it firering so it takes em all out!

i failed every time i tried to use the turret.


to take out the mortars just use whatever assault rifle you have then jump on the turrets for the reapers.


the turret moves too slow and takes to long to cool down. i did it first time with the rifle.
