Surely all you are doing is encouraging people to start up again and argue from scratch in a new thread? You're asking people to replicate the content that apparently annoys you... how odd.

If there is an existing and definitive thread on the subject then maybe that could be made a sticky but it's a console thing, there will always be the banter about which is best, there always has been, if it's posted over and over again don't reply to it, don't feed the thread.

This is EXACTLY my point Michael. Every thread seems to turn into a stupid argument about which is best even when it's nothing to do with the thread.

Make this a sticky, make the other a sticky but surely it's about time the endless Spam (of which I am guilty at times) on unrelated threads needs to end.

Im with Matt. Its a good idea as its a long running theme. Things that go on tend to end up as stickys.


As for the best, i always used to want a PS3 but now id rather have a 360. Cheaper and most games are on both. No real differences between the graphics as people cant use the PS3 to its full capabilities, just like the ps2.

TBH I still dont want any of them, but id take a 360 if I had to. But on one hand this topic is wrong, we should unite the 2 of them and worry about the WII killing console games as we know it.

OK points taken but if it's going to be a sticky let's do it right, start the thread with detailed specifications for comparison and keep things factual and on topic without the playground level stuff.... then it's worthy of a sticky.

I was thinking more along the lines of mods removing the arguments from unrelated threads and putting them here?

Otherwise I can edit the original post to say which do you prefer and why?

The idea of this is so that the other threads can be modded, people will be aware of this and know they should have no need to start arguing else where.

ah but if the xbox was doing the agument is would win as it has green lights and its also able to link into other pc's, so it could then spam the world and teh interntez and the PS3 could only talk to its PSP and then stop readin its discs.

New PS3s don't have the memory card readers.
XBox has no hdmi? What about the Elite?
New PS3s only have 2 USB ports.

i ripped it from another website thats basically the original "release" boxes

and having an internal powersupply is a win factor for people with not much space
