- apart from the obvious minor frontal damage. It is a JDM Revison 1 MR2 GLimited AUTO and is fitted with the 158 BHP 3SGE 2 Litre Twin CAM 16V Engine mated to a 3 Speed Automatic Gearbox with power and overdrive modes.
This is the NA or Norminally Aspirated engine, i.e.
NOT Turbo charged, and being the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) model it benefits from Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Folding Wing Mirors and Tinted Windows as well as the Standard MR2 specifications of the GT model. 
It has covered just over 198000 Kilometers which is approxemately 118000 Miles and is currently MOT`d until 28TH August 2009.
The road TAX has been removed and cashed in so it is currently SORN`d. 
From initial inspection you can see that it is in need of some minor repair.
It looks more severe than what it is. It has had a light to moderate tap just off centre of the right hand side. The damaged panels have been removed as this car was going to be repaired, but since they are off you can see that there is no damage to either wings or the chassis.
The front support bars either side of the Radiator housings took most of the damage.
the passenger side will need to be straightned and ligned up slighted and thats all the work that I would say needs to be done. The rest of the repair work is to replace the body panels that are not on the car.Here is a quick list of what needs to be replaced.

/ Bumper & Crash Bar / Passenger Wing / Slam Panel / Bumper Fixing Bar that runs above the RAD / Radiator / Air Con Condensor - if required / Passenger side Headlight Cover / Window Wiper Scuttle / Window Screen / Fog Lights / Front Lights and Indicators Prior to the accident the car was in fine mechanical order having recently been MOT`d in August 2008, I am led to believe, after speaking to the previous owner, that it has had the Power Steering Pump and Front Shock Absorbers replaced at MRTWOS
- and from driving it on and off my trailer it appears that the brakes have been done too as it stops very well. Also this car is
NOT RECORDED as the previous owner NEVER claimed on his insurance as he was only 3rd Party - therefore if repaired your insurance will not be affected.The 3SGE engine too is in very good mechanical order with no
"mayonnaise" in the oil cap, it starts from 1st turn of the key and sounds solid and does not rattle or smoke - the Gearbox changes without any crunches or whines and is very solid. In terms of modification this MR2 is completely standard
- the Alloy wheels shown are aftermarket 15" - these have decent tyres on them. Once these minor repairs have been done and the panels replaced, this MR2 will be good to go, as I have previously said it starts and stops on the money and with only 118K miles on the clock it still has many more miles left in the ultra reliable 3SGE Engine.
InteriorInterior wise it has Black and Grey Stripped Seats, Black Carpet and Black Interior trim.
The seats are unmarked with no rips, tears or burn and the carpet too is unmarked. The Drivers side window control is missing although these can be picked up from eBay relatively cheaply. It benefits from Electric Windows and Folding Wing Mirrors, Remote Central Locking which is controlled by the Remote Alarm Keyfob.
It is also fitted with a Sony CD Stereo Radio It also has a the TBAR Panels which are in good condition and show no signs of leaking
- so ideal for the Summer and Practical in the Autumn / Winter months. PaperworkThe Current MOT certificate, which expires 28th August 2009, is supplied with the car along with current V5 and sales receipt from the previous owner and some bills for service and parts.
This car was purchased for £3000 in 2004! Points to Remember This car is over 17 years old so please take this into account
- it is NOT a new car and as such does have age related wear and tear but saying this as it is a TOYOTA it has stood the test of time very well.SummaryIf you are looking for a cheap everyday MR2 then look no further, very little time and money will be needed to be invested to make this MR2 good again, or if you wish to you could use this for
