Need For Speed Under Cover

Post by matt_mr2t »

This doesn't look bad to me! I guite enjoyed need for speed carbon but never got round to getting pro street? Any one getting the new one? I don't care about it not being a realistic driving simulator, it looks more interesting for the story and action!

Looks good, saw a vid on youtube about the games development and although the game is not a driving sim it looks much better than carbon and prostreet. Imo pro street was crap and carbon wasnt much good either.
I just bought Midnight club los angeles and got bored of it in a day so hoping this game is much better.

I quite liked Carbon. It kept me interested far longer than PGR !

I read a really bad review for Transformers (Movie) once and learned never to listen to critics.

Totally agree mate. :thumleft:

...but I normally agree with gametrailers thats why I use them for their reviews.

I normally agree with the Sneak in the sun but that day they said Transformers was crap.

As it transpired, it's the best film ever made :thumleft:

I think it comes down to what you want out of the game. Loads of people are going to buy it thinking its a proper driving sim, especially if they have watched the developers video on youtube that talks about the driving physics.

Its no way going to be realistic in the slightest, I have both carbion and pro street and the physics suck but the games are not that awful.

Im buying this game as a fun driving game thats it. For proper sims I use the pc. Just hoping its much better than the last 2 installments or its going right back to Game!

Under Cover was supposed to be similar to previous Underground/Hot Pursuit NFS games (which i think were the best)

All the simulator games are a tad boring and same old same old imo. You race, you race, you race a bit more, you buy something else and never play it again.

I avoid the NFS series like the plague; I wish they would kill the series off the whole game series is complete turd.

Obviously you can’t polish a turd but as they have proved with the NFS series you can wrap it in tinsel and sprinkle glitter over it!

Each to their own. I bought NSF Pro Street from Si yesterday too.

Some people like a bit of action instead of boring reality :thumleft:

Im gutted, had my chevy camaro ss impounded by the cops for getting busted for speeding 3 times, had over 100k of mods on it 2 and i cant get it back!! Thats the only really annoying thing about this game. When your wanted meter goes above 4 the police will chase you as soon as they see you. The only thing you can do to get your meter down is respray your car!

I've only played Carbon and the cops only caught me once or twice, just keep driving, eventually you lose them.

cops on these are bad mofos! Once you get busted 3 times you lose your car for good. They are clever, they attempt to box you in.
