Well, sort of... ;) If Sony said I could have the Res5 demo but only by subscribing to their 'gold' membership then I'd tell them to poke it and gladly go without. I have a 360 but still won't be able to get the demo because I'm not 'gold' - so, to me, both consoles are useless for it.
Why not just release poxy demos as a free for all like they do on PCs, it's nonsense, they seem to have lost sight of the fact they're meant to be promotional tools that are freely distributed in order to advertise the game. I'm hardly going to feel compelled to buy a game I haven't tried.

Nothing to do with PSN, More like the devs can't be ar$ed compiling one. I'm guessing the Tomb Raider demo won't be making a PS3 appearance becasuse A. It's another poo port and B. It isn't better than Unchartered which ripped off the concept and took it one step futher so it will crash and burn on the Sony system as we all wait for Unchartered 2

To be fair, Capcom have no need to do a demo for RE5 as it'll sell bucketloads regardless. It's the smaller companies that rely on these more for sales.

Don't know if anyone reads 360 magazine (not the official one, it's just called 36) but there's a cracking article this month about how and why demos are created. Really insightful stuff.
