maybe not. i have a vid of a mr2 doing a 9.9 second quarter mile, unsure of its power, it may even just be lighter.

Nice numbers and all that but the main reason that nobody ever really kicked up a fuss about it being the most powerful MR2; certainly in North America, is that the guy built the car/engine with the money he basically stole from customers.

He is notorious on the US MR2 board and I personally think he's a waste of space.

LB should be avoided, I ordered a downpipe from a trader that was selling his goods I waited 4 months pipe never materilised... then I cancelled my order. Fortunately I paid a 3rd party trader so they were apologeitc and refuded my money. I have every confidence that If i ordered direct I'd have never seen the pipe or my money again.

What gets me about that video clip is how easy it seemed. I mean, the car didn't seem to struggle putting the power down or anything!

Note, the terminal speed of that 700ps MR2 was about 150mph. So if that car produced 700bhp, how much (or little!) is LB's to do 11sec at 127mph? ;) I'd guess at about 600bhp. Not bad, but I wouldn't say it's the most powerful MR2.

I agree the terminal speed is what you need to look at :)

I think LB's new car is a 2.4 liter with a stupidly big turbo on it isnt it?
Small turbos - they're not big and they're not clever!

Nice car and specs but the guy should be horse whipped for how he has treated customers - he is more concerned with doing up his car than sending the parts through to customers that have bought off him.

ive heard now that it has a full forged 2.4 with even bigger turbo!
expecting to produce close to 1000bhp!

I've gott hat clip of the 9sec 2. Is it the orange one?

Man I was impressed with how evey time he changed gear and floored it the front end would just fly upwards! Impressive traction too. I'd like to know how he got all that power down so well.

i have the clip and obvious he's on proper drag tyres, check the profile of the tyres! and the fact they stick like xxxx! hardly any wheel spin as he nails it. if you read through the jap text you can make out the stuff the car is using, all off shelf and think he got about 900bhp

like the way you see the engine lid flap about near the end of the clip :D

Extremeboost haven't tested that new car yet. Hes going to be testing it in the up coming weeks.

The times produced before were when his car was running 640bhp something.

I was talking to him last night and at 1012BHP fly its believed to be the Most powerful mr2 in the world, Also the record i believe was 9.8 1/4 which he hopes to beat with this car.
