Hey buddy!

Will have to hook up at some point? Send me your number via PM? Would love to go out for a spin in a tubby again. Had quite a few of them and loved them to bits!

only been in Teynham a year. Very happy there though. Go to Bourne quite a lot as i work in London so drive through it all the time. nice to know there is an enthusiast living locally!

Found a UK dealer who actually had the bumper in stock that I was after?! Was really shocked as I had called so many places that I thought might have it but with no luck.

Yesterday though was a different story... called Alan at Pow-R and he came up trumps! Picked it up this morning. I think its going to go really well with the skirts. Cant wait to put it all together now!

Couple of pictures of my bumper and one of it on the Top Secret car (its a Top Secret replica bumper for those that werent sure) to give you an idea of what it looks like in situ. Its as close to as blatent a rip off as you could get to a Porsche bumper, but then so is the car to an extent! I think with the colour of the car, it should look quite sleek.

Got the other sideskirt on and finished off the front bumper. I must say, it was the easiest bumper Ive ever fitted. It took me all of a combined 30 minutes to remove the original and fit the aftermarket one. Everything lined up exactly as you would expect an OEM bumper to. Most impressed.

Cant decide where to put the numberplate. What do you all think? To the side a lá Evo (Its actually pretty level where it is, but because of the curves of the bumper, its looks a bit pi$$ed!) or bang in the middle? I tried it there first but it looked a bit like a baby with its first tooth.

Anyway, some better pics. Will be priming it most probably at the weekend.

Today was a productive day indeed! Got up at idiot o'clock to drive back to Surrey. Got the car in the oven and started getting it ready for paint. Prep work didnt take very long as I had done the bulk of it, but just wanted to give a couple finer details a quick skim and then a good sand down with a 500 grit paper.

Few progress shots...

And a few finished shots! The colour match is really good. This doesnt look particularly apparent as the car only had a very quick, light wash. Once it's had a good T cut and polish, I think it will match really well. Its certainly not the weather for that at the moment, though. Hoping it warms up a little next week. Hope others like it as much as I do. I really dont know if I can stand to get rid of her now. Think I might have to look at other options first, perhaps renting a garage or something? Anyway, here are the finished pics!

Cool, looks nice!

The front bumper does look a little darker than the bonnet, but not by much.
