Looks pretty poor to me, I'm sure some of you hardcore rockers will love it.

Also a number of the songs are already one some of the guitar hero games already.

Because of the songs or because of the gameplay?

I think the DL content between RB1 & 2 is the same isnt it?

IE I dont have to buy RB2 to get the songs listed in the market place as downloads?

The DLC is interchangeable, yes. For a small fee you can also transfer 55 of the 58 RB songs to RB2 as well so you only need ever use the one disc, which is a great idea.

And that's exactly why I prefer Harmonix stuff to Neversoft, as it aims for feel over button-mashing. Neversoft stuff is always going to be more challenging, but I play the games for fun not because I want to 100% some obscure death metal track.

Well, you've have more of an idea than me, but if it's anything like the first one then I'll be a very happy bunny.

I like Rock Band 1 & Guitar Hero World Tour for playability. They're both very close in that department. IE you can play it on hard without having to spend 2 hours learning some of the songs on practice mode!

If Rock Band 2 plays like Rock Band 1 & GHWT then I'll be happy. But on the other hand, nothing on the set list what so ever makes me want it.

Come on, not even Bad To The Bone? That's ace! :D

And as I thought, it's much the same as RB1 yet far more polished. The band stuff integrates really well now in solo mode, and it was a piece of cake to get the old DLC working too. Having the ability to config the audio and visual lag means the days of "I know I hit that note!" are gone, and the whole thing feels tighter as a result.

RB1 was amazing, but this tops it. Just, but it does.

Bad To The Bone is ok yes, but not £40 ok, I can live without it.

You can configure Guitar Hero 2 & 3 as well as RB1 and GHWT?

Aye, but it's a joint audio/visual one which is always a compromise. Having them separate gives you far more control and the effect is very noticeable.

It's also really simple transfer the RB songs over to RB2, and only costs 400 MS points. Not too shabby when you think you end up with a game that potentially then has nigh-on 500 songs!

Also, Living On A Prayer makes me hard. It's mint! :D

Livin On A Prayer is on GHWT and is poo, sorry mate!

Now Beat It, Eye Of The Tiger, Are You Gonna Go My Way, What I've Done, Sweet Home Alabama, Hotel California and a number of others - they make me hard :thumleft:
