Going on Sat (already got my tickets) so will pop over and say hello! :-)

Surprised neither IMOC or MR2OC dont have stands there in their own right too - I've only ever seen MR2DC folks there.

Attended the opening day yesterday, superb and what an amazing show, 5 halls full of superb classics and sports cars. Seriously you will need a week to get right round, unfortunately I could only attend the 1 day [-(

Look out for our stand in hall 4, Jinxy's mica blue is looking absolutely pristine now sporting his new personal number plate.

Oh and who's this mooching around our stand, surely its not Mike Brewer and Ed China from the hit TV series Wheeler Dealers, no, it can't be, read all about it in the March issue of the Mk1 Club magazine!

Don't forget their new series Wheeler Dealers on the Road is on now.

Me and my dad (Boyzdad on the forums) also attended yesterday and had his car on the stand along with some very shiny MK1's, my dads one looked a bit out of place as he washed it before he came and of course on the way to the NEC it got dirty  . So we had to give it a little polish whilst we were there and all was good.

It was a great day out with LOADS of classic cars of all ages and types. Also including a big autojumble where i bought a few brochures and press photos of the MK1. To sum up it was exellent and great fun, never seen so many cars under one roof! .

Here are some pictures i took (the black one is my dads and sorry i did'nt get a pic of everyones MR2 :( )

Grrrr.

Drove up today, M5 was slow, M42 had an accident on it and was closed just off the M5. Had to crawl round the back way from Longbridge. Took us til gone 12:30* to get to join the back of the mile long queue of stationary traffic to get into the car park, after sitting around for 15 mins did a U-turn and came home. :(

*3:30hrs to do a trip we can normally do in 1:15.

Jinx,

Thanks for the kind words ( about being the biggest wheeler dealer, I'll do anything for a monkey, £500 )

I understand you, Wayne and myself will be the main organisers of next years show. I've got huge plans for the show if thats the case. Waynes been discussing budgets with Stuart, we can get together at the Xmas bash and get some stuff down on paper.

Like Jinx said thanks to everyone involved in running and organising the show and to the members who attended the stand and indeed to our newly joined members, make sure you spread the word.

Mik - Stuart will still be the show organiser!

Jinxy, myself and yourself will have an input, Stuart agreed next year is the year to take things to the next level.

There is alot of planning to be done and we need all the information in one place (I think I know just the place!! ;) ) but I am sure between us (us, I mean every member, not just us 3!) we can put on a cracking stand.

Just want to say a BIG thank you for inviting us on to your stand over the weekend at the NEC   we really had a great time, we gained like yourselves some new members.

So thanks everyone - Stuart, Ken, Richard, Wayne, Mike, Doris, Fred, Jinx and of course the ladies - can't wait to see you again - thats if you want us again - we weren't too bad were we :?

Thanks to everyone who attended the show and especially to those whose cars were on the stand. What a great positive show this year:
Wheeler dealers on the stand
Film on MR2's for the NEC website
Two member's cars to be in Retro magazine early next year

Copy and paste it Jinx, if you click it it misses off the 2008/ bit because of the space.
