COD5

Out today right?

Anyone playing it? Heard mixed reviews so far.

Popping out tomorrow. Was thinking of picking it up but may wait to hear more on it.

It got 97% in the Sun today.

One comment said "it doesnt just have good graphics for a war game, it has good graphics for any game available today"

It also said things like "this isnt gloryfying war, it's a real hardscore virtual experience that will give you a sense of the fear soldiers fighting in a war will experience"

All I hope is that it takes a bit more than a few hours to complete on single player mode unlike COD 4

I've got it.

The single player is brilliant stuff. Just as good as COD4 if not better I would say.

I've only played the online for a couple of hours but I'm struggling to get to grips with it. The maps are huge and other players seem smaller than in COD4 which makes them harder to spot.

Also a lot of the guns have very small magazines so you only get a couple of shots off before you have to reload which makes life a bit difficult.

But like I say I've only played it for a couple of hours so I'm sure I'll get used to it.

no where near as cod 4, veteran isnt hard its ridiculous, the only thing the enemies do is throw 300 grendades every 3 seconds!! ur constantly dodging grenades. your team are extreemly stupid often stopping you from running away from grenades and they never move up unless you move on so you can either sit there for 20mins shooting an endless stream of enemies or run from pillar to post getting shot from 50 directions as you seem to be the only target on the map.

it is fun but just no where near as good as cod 4 but still fun, they should just never have let trey arch make the game, infinity ward do it so much better so bring on cod 6

All out in my local one - TBH not really bothered as i'll pick it up later. Did notice that the 'normal' price seemed to be £30 - seemed strange as everything else new was £35+

Anyway, wasnt a totally wasted journey either as Asda are doing Indiana Jones KOTCS for £8!

can you get hold of Thursdays "SUN"? If so get Page 43 out (the Asda advert) or try and print this out -

Image

Take it into PCWorld, Comet, Currys, Game, Gamestation, Tesco etc and ask them to price match. PCWorld Comet and Currys would be best as they give you 10% of the difference back making it about £25

Also they usually dont phone them to check stock when you take a newspaper advert in..

Screw that, I'm waiting for COD 6. COD 4 till then.

WW2? I'll just play COD 2 for that. Unleash a pack of dogs rather than a helicopter as per cod 4? =;
