Dallas Toyota in the good ol' U.S. of A.

Post by HighwayStar »

Ordered a set of T-bar seals from them 11 days ago and they turned up today, not bad says I. I got both seals both sides including tax and delivery for less than the price of one side from Mr T here in the UK!
Anyway they do loads of stuff mail order all over the world. Well worth checking before you buy any major bits from Toyota here.
Why is the UK so expensive?

that and the toyota parts catalogue in the states is exactly the same price but i $ not £ i kid you not brand new short block £1400 from tollhouse toyota gatwick $1400 from dallas

:thumleft:

always check as Mr-TUK charge some obscene prices for small parts take the partial return valve that goes on the BOV £43! i went for $43.

Its not quite as good as it used to be now the £$ ex rate is down to about 1.5-6 instead of 2$ to the pound but still beats UK guys no problems and they are good at avoiding the customs guys too.

Yep, I used to order stuff in from the USA - be careful about the year revisions being different in the USA to Japan - typically their models were a year behind those in Japan, and they didn't get a Rev3 turbo at all.

Their Mk2 NA had a 5S-FE 2.2 lump in it, rather than the 3S-GE - so its no good buying from the USA if you have a NA.
