Myself and some friends are booked on a track day at Abingdon. Friday 14th November, £109 for the day.
It's through Motorsport Events but we booked through trackdays.co.uk
Anyone else planning on going to this?
Helen

Take a warm coat and umbrella its quite exposed if its wet or cold
Driving wise, no corners are particularly tricky but where you come back past the pits is a little slippery and the exit to the bend the track is quite narrow so too much speed through it and you run out of road and on to grass, were quite a few spinners ove the course of the day on that corner.
Petrol is really near at Tesco just off the A34, 99ron is only on the pumps on the far left hand side so don't believe the signs "all grades here" then have to queue up again.

I did tuition with MSE at Colerne - absolutely brilliant. I recommend the full hour, which they do as 3 x 20 minute stints.
So much track time I used nearly 2 tanks of fuel!!
Might see if there's any places left and whether I've got the money, as I want to do another trackday before Chrstmas
Ditto here. I took tuition with MSE at Hullavington. Person who taught me was very good. What I learnt shaved about 2 seconds off my run times (toyota sprint series).
Well worth the £20.
Good stuff - will keep my eyes peeled for you! Will be in a grey rev3 turbo
The tuition we've booked isn't with MSE - he's a friend of a friend and we're just paying for his track day, then he will give the 4 of us tuition for the whole day - should be good
Nice one. I really noticed the difference after a day of driver training. Friends in the Supra club said I'd come on a long way too when we did a track day over in Llandow, Wales
I've done Llandow too - good track but did you find that other smaller cars were whipping round the bus stop faster than you??
Very cold when it's a windy day there too...
Was very cold and windy when we went. It was a Supra club day, but I took the MR2 instead and I did overtake a few Supras and a Scooby WRX PPP, so not too bad
I like the last 2 as you can see me catching the Supra and WRX
Have just installed a boost controller to try to reduce turbo lag - lots of scraped knuckles now[/img]
Its a good feeling when you catch up "quicker" cars
