any reason why a downpipe would go from 2.5inchs, to 4inchs, to 3-3.5inch???

only one way to find out.

I reckon this is a right result for you Jim seeing as on a rev 5 you would need to pass the stricter emissions test.

this could have saved me a massive heartacke come mot time...
as i would of had to have done something similar (ie weld a cat in)...
result indeed...

now just need to test it out.

theres alot of bracing on the turbo, downpipe and screamer....

so id hope it was half decent anyway.

yes its a cat, mine flowed 570hp at 1.6bar, so flow isnt an issue

Must be a pricey item to if it's still capable of flowing that sort of hp.

decents CATs aren't cheap. I had to replace the CAT on my Civic the other day (just failed MOT emissions: boo). Honda one is £400 :shock: Decent pattern part was nearly £300. So I went for an Ebay special - £60 :shock: and it didn't fit without serious cutting and welding :lol:
