any reason why a downpipe would go from 2.5inchs, to 4inchs, to 3-3.5inch???

I reckon this is a right result for you Jim seeing as on a rev 5 you would need to pass the stricter emissions test.

this could have saved me a massive heartacke come mot time...
as i would of had to have done something similar (ie weld a cat in)...

theres alot of bracing on the turbo, downpipe and screamer....

so id hope it was half decent anyway.

yes its a cat, mine flowed 570hp at 1.6bar, so flow isnt an issue

decents CATs aren't cheap. I had to replace the CAT on my Civic the other day (just failed MOT emissions: boo). Honda one is £400 Decent pattern part was nearly £300. So I went for an Ebay special - £60 and it didn't fit without serious cutting and welding
