DEMO!

Post by viperrr »

I just downloaded the demo for this, and it's pretty awesome!

Needless to say I would make a very clumsy free-runner :eye:

After finishing the demo this will be on my purchase list. Very original and i like the fact it (the demo anyway) hasn't been ruined by some annoying soundtrack, It's just you and the surrounding noises high up in a living city.

Shame Star Wars - The repetativeness unleashed demo didn't have the same effect :D

I've heard it's only available now for Gold members
Silver memberships have to wait another week (same with all demos).

Hahaha, £40 a year to get your free demos early #-o

Why would i take the mick out of a current gen console that boasts a huge interactive online community to play along side but to play along side you have to pay a yearly subscription fee to use the service and to pay to obtain game demos early is a 'kin joke mate.

Sony on the otherhand provide a FREE online service for demos and online gaming :-k How stupid of them ](*,)

people pay over a fiver on a monthly basis to play some games on PC so i really dont think that £30 for the whole year to play all the games with a single friends list and invite system along with all the dashboard stuff is really much to ask.

specially with the new dashboard on the way.

sony couldnt charge because its not up to the same standard as live and they have to make something appeal about there console.

dont think they have even half the content available in the store either.

Okay just played the demo. It looks good, is a nice concept but I just didn't like it at all.

Its teh kind of game where I would spend all my time trying to get to the next thing and fail miserabl, then repeat ad infinitum as I found the stunts/jumps really quite difficult. CBA set in when I got to the weapons bit.

Perhaps it's me then?

If i pay for a game why should i have to pay an additional charge just to play it online???

I am amazed that microshaft haven't (not yet introduced) a fair usage policy with Live that allows them to charge you more than £40 because you've downloaded too much or spent too many hours playing online in the last "x" weeks/months.

360 owners are lucky, As part of the yearly "fee" you get dashboard improvements and new features :-k The PS3's XMB has had this since launch (all for free) when "home" goes live (still free as far as i'm aware) PS3 games will have there own rooms/builings where players/clans can meet up and discuss team tactics/launch straight into a game etc.

Live has been around a hell of a lot longer and content will always be stonger but quality not quantity counts, There's nothing at all wrong with LIVE i just think it was typical microshaft butt'kin there users by charging you use their consoles online [-X

@Lauren: (another free) GT5P update announced that will FINALLY allow users to host their own friends only races :D IMOC starting grids coming soon \:D/

Not that any one ever uses it but a lot of 360 games come with redeem codes for 3 months XBL membership. If you plan it right you dont actually have to pay for it.....

And from experience, XBL OWNS PSN pure and simple.

I happily pay for mine knowing it takes 1/4 of the time of the PS3 to download a demo. And as far as I was aware downloading demo's is part of the free XBL Silver membership any way?
