[Mk2] [Turbo] Smokey mr2

Hi all

My tubby has started to pump out blue smoke (again)
Last year the turbo went, so i sent it away and had it repaired and upgraded to a stage 2 ct26 (only 4000 miles on it).
The car is a rev1 with hybrid ct26, downpipe, apex filter and nur spec.

Boost 1 bar so nothing to mad.

It smokes when in a low gear going downhill around 2000 - 3000 revs.
when i acelerate there is no smoke.

Dont have a clue but any help would be so greatful.

can you tell what colour the smoke is?

white - coolant (when engine is warm)
blue - oil
black - unburnt petrol


I'd rule out oil first - get a compression test done (you can buy a tool for £15)

low compression is likely to be worn piston rings, but this would smoke under acceleration.
