Hi all, i need to change my accelerator cable as mine is starting to fray #-o now i heard you can take out the old cable from the outer casing and thread a new wire through, then i supose attach the lugs on each end, :-k
has anyone done or heard of this if they have can you let me know where i can get the bits and how to do it,

Make one. Go to your local bicycle shop and buy i length of brake cable, exact same stuff. Or you can go to toyota who will dress like Dick Turpin and rob you blind. Mate had same problem with his civic, Honda wnted just over £100, bike shop, £10.

thanks mate but what about the little lugs on either end of the cable where do you get them and how do you attach them :-k

I replaced my whole cable with a good condition second hand one, went in in about an hour (probably would have been less time, but I am cak-handed) :D
If at first you don't succeed...
give up skydiving!
