'thank you!' to Claire, Barry and the rest of the very helpful people at Elite in Rainham.I took my MR2 there to have the suspension geometry checked after my little off at the recent airfield day and get my MOT renewed.
Once again, they bent over backwards to help, to the extent of Claire bringing in a set of her own front wheels to ensure my car passed its MOT should the spacers they had to order not have done the required job
- how's that for service!The inital fiddling they had done with the suspension last week had introduced a wobble in the steering somehow
(even now we don't know exactly how as the numbers on the 4-wheel alignment were spot on). They were happy to get it back on the alignment equipment and thankfully in the process of fitting the spacers and balancing the wheels has sorted it out. There's still a slight pull to the left, but without spending a huge amount more time diagnosing, I'm very happy with the result.Well worth the trip
- even after having to be towed home by the AA from the New Kent Road after my clutch slave cylinder decided to give up on the way home!
