Janspeed exhaust sound movie clips

Hi all.

I've been running my JanSpeed stainless exhaust system for a few years but the sound is just getting extremely hard and I think there's something wrong with it. I took the heatshield off from the manifold last week and found a crack in the manifold. I will replace the manifold this week with all new gaskets and the 3 nuts but I think the sound will be awful after that as well. I really don't like it anymore.

I just did a search on here and read something about the baffles can come loose, is this repairable?

Does anyone of you have a sound clip of a good JanSpeed system installed on their MK1 that you would like to share for a comparison?

If you brought the exhaust then it will have a life time warrenty and janspeed will repair it for free if the baffles are gone.

Mine sounded terrible when my manifold was leaking but its ok again now that ive fitted a new manifold.

Well, the other manifold is on. I used a new manifold gasket, 2 new OEM exhaust gaskets and the three nuts are also new. I tightened the crap out of the 3 nuts but it is still leaking from there. I've read about the Jinxy gaskets but I can't seem to find a Jinxy on the memberlist. I would really want to try those, how can I get in contact with the Jinxy?

And does no-one have a sound clip of their JanSpeed? Maybe some pictures would be nice too

I did buy the JanSpeed new for about 3 years ago, but it was in a groupbuy and I do not have a receipt or other documentation.

Did you send of the registration card that came with the exhaust. I did and when i rang janspeed they had my info on file and gave me my warrenty number.

No I did not because I only got the exhaust without any paperwork. I will try to gumgum the flanges when I have some time soon and see how that works out. If it doesn't help I will send an email to JanSpeed and see if we can work something out.
