No no one else has played it Herb, because you seem to get games months before they are even released.

Fable looks great, I also cant wait for Fall out 3 - which you have no doubt played

funny how you fail to mention the copy you have isnt exactly legit everytime you post like this.

I thought everyone knew your box was modded by now.

The majority of people I know with 360's have 'modded' them.

The fact is... if you want to play online then buy the game or else you can get banned (Due to 'some' copies having a different jitter speed to originals) roughly 1 in 20 copies will have an incorrect jitter speed and there is nothing that can be done abt that at present.

You cannot get detected/banned unless you actually play online as you join MS servers and info is fed back to MS.

So I dont know why EVERYONE doesnt mod their box. After all your dvd roms will last longer - I set my read speed to 8x instead of the standard 12x as it induces less stress on the drive. you will only notice .5 of a sec slower load times and no stutter what so ever during gameplay.

Like Herb says, you can try out games thatyou are not sure if you are going to like or play online and buy the ones you do! :thumleft:

you cant of thought this through properly?

if everyone got there games for a fiver off the local market or a mate or even the internet for free then devs would pull out of the console market.

look at PC games. nobody wants to make em cos they know there will be people playing pirated copies before they can get em to shelfs.

and all for free.

Agree with Sam on this one. Thats exact what would happen (and has happened on the PC).

Asside from being illegal video game piracy is like that of DVD's and CD's. By using pirate copies your basically saying to the artist/ producer 'I love your work but can't be ar$ed to pay for it'.

I think £30 - £40 for a new game is a bargain considering the vision and work that goes into new games. Particularly games like Fable 2 which are a homage to the original's fans...

Just like you can walk into any games store, Pick up a game off the shelf, Rip the security tag off it and walk out with it without paying but tell the assistant/manager/security guard/police if you don't like it you'll bring it back later or come back and pay for it if you do like it :thumleft:
