Snetterton MR2 Racing

Post by Hybrids »

Just wanted to publicly thank Jinxy, Phil & their understanding partners for their help on Saturday.
Jeff McCall #20 ended up stuck in 3rd after the first Saturday race, Jinxy jumped in and helped with the box change.
Rob Jefferies #37 sustained terminal engine damage in the second Saturday race, Phil (with long and hard to remember IMOC username  ) living near by, having an engine available and offering the use of a crane to change the engine.
Once #20 was finished we got started on #37, Phil stayed and helped.
we had various assistance through the night from wellwishers and coffee providers. After a couple of compatability issues we had #37 running by 03:00.
Thanks guys.

Phil would have stayed longer if he hadn't had his invalid girlfriend going 'I need foood and drink!!' Sorry about that but if I hadn't whined for him to come home at 8 he would have stayed til the 3:30am that you guys finished!

I love the way you lifted the car. That was.....novel.... :D
