Is there any North East meetings??

i don't live in the north east anymore but am originally from south shields and so am not averse to swinging by whilst i'm visiting family etc. i have (soon will anyway) a mk2 and the boyfriend drives a mk1 supercharger. let me know if this is going to be a regular thing, i may be able to pop in one time.

regarding venues/routes for a meet, michael do you have any ideas, oh 'god of the entire uk road/venue network'??!!

How about going up to Alston. The roads up there are fantastic. Could stop at Hartside cafe for lunch.
What about 8/9 november?

Jap North East is on the 9th November up at the Stadium of light in sunderland.

makes a good day and theres always a big collection of japanese cars there.

Yeah i'll be up for that. I've been up there once. Should we meet up before, and go up in convoy.

Last time we went it was about 1330 ish and it was well under way.
Should we meet at Durham services then. Thats pretty central for everyone.

JNE starts officially at 2pm on the second sunday of every month

so, lets make it official.....

We'll all meet at Durham services at 1:30pm on sunday 8th November and leave about 2pm ??

everyone up for that?

haha, yeah it's mid-repaired so he'll be getting it back in about a week i reckon. he's peeved cause his pulley kit didn't come from nst and he's not been able to get in touch with them yet, but no worries, si reckons it's not impossible to fit at a later date with the engine still in.

my mk2 is getting new drop links cause the old ones are a bit worn and make a clunky noise, then i'm having that alloy repaired and gonna try and pop the yellow lenses outta the front fogs (why, why, why put 80s lenses on a 90s car? blinking japanese!!). paint job with jinxy next year when the weather picks up.

so it's all good, if i'm passing i might see you guys at one of these meets in the future

November the 09th at the Stadium of Light, starting at 2pm running until whenever everyone leaves!

Address is Stadium of Light, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear SR5 1SU.

Burger van is in attendance
Raffle also held at the meet See Dawn for Tickets. £1.00 a strip Prizes are donated by the many traders on JNE and also Staff. these will be announced shortly

Bring the kids and family there is something for all to see.

Other clubs are more than welcome to attend this event spread the word.
