an update

well i didnt like the way the advans sat WAY in the arches.....

so i've replaced those with these toora's. which i think suit the car real well & fill the arches perfectly :D

fronts are wrapped in falken rubber. and the backs have 225 wide Eagle 1's 8)

bomex lip still to come.
front fogs still need to be fitted, havent had chance yet
im debating one of these too..

i need some pointers, what should i do next?

a v6 will be on the cards next year too (probably back end of next year). so performance isnt the question \:D/

UPDATE

well, two weeks ago i somehow blew my gearbox up on my car.. #-o

i bought a mint rev 3 black bumper & rev 3 lip for peanuts off here. thats now fitted. :thumleft:

anyway, since then i've bought a mint rev 3 gearbox from Toyota GT & 2 of my good mates have helped me out alot!!

old gearbox out, new gearbox in... within 6 hours. not bad considering noones done an mr2 before!! :eye:

while the old gearbox was out i noticed i have a Exedy stage 1 clutch !!! ideal.

parts will be painted this month, so keep an eye on this thread.

i'll post a pic up tonight of my gearbox

as it stands now, my spec list is:

Engine & transmission
Sard exhaust. (5zigen exhaust will be fitted this week!!)
Sard intake
Exedy Clutch

Exterior
Rev 3 bumper & rev 3 lip
Front Fogs
Purple tints

Suspension & Wheels
Toms adjustable suspension
Toms adjustable front top mounts
Uprated front ARB
Uprated rear ARB
17" Toora’s wrapped in GSD3’s & Falken ziex’s
APP Braided brake lines all round

Next up to come in this order:
De-tint the rear lights
Rewire the toblerones up, smooth wings (fill side repeater holes in)
Coilovers
Carbon headlight covers
Carbon bonnet
Carbon Boot
Carbon rear centre panel.
HID’s

Do people think carbon fibre will suit my car? ](*,)

Cheers.

I have to be honest mate but im not a fan of a car full of Carbon 8-[

I think the bonnet looks good and maybe a REV 5 spoiler with the Carbon parts but other than that im not sure but each to their own. :-#

Do you want the Carbon for the looks or for the weight properties? If its just because of the weight i would get the parts sprayed to match your car :thumleft:

I like your car being fairly standard especially since its in the best colour \:D/

P.S Im sure ill get some repercussions off some members who love Carbon :oldtongue:
