Farcry 2 Anyone getting it?

Anyone getting Far Cry 2?? Never played Far Cry before, is it any good? Has anyone been following the development of FC2?

Was going to Pre Order it but theres so many good games comming out soon I dont know what to get

Been watching this one from the start mate. Looks amazing! Very realalistic! 50km of complete open world, do the missions how you want, when you want.

Looks very different to the first games, which is a good thing.

looks like I will have to get the Xbox360 version, PC Specs are just hitting the Minimum Recommended... I realy need to build a new machine, think I will build one after christmas

been playing farcry 2 over the last 2 days. really good but i have a feeling it may get repetitive so best played on and off with some others.

Its called setting the story Herb! - and from what I have seen its how the game teaches you the game mechanics and controls and also allows you to customise your character like other RPG's.

Let us know if your opion changes once you get outside of the vault. Saw some in game footage and its looks right up my street - but then I love games like Oblivion.

Nice to see that a game actually take some time to build an interesting and compelling story - other than "kill everything". As Fall Out comes from the same stable as Oblivion I am sure its going to be a compelling and interesting story - something thats lacking from 95% of games these days.




Has anyone else played Farcry2? Having read more about it it sounds more like a first person shooter / RPG with the free roam, unstructured missions aspect. Have to say it looks quite good.

Anyone use the map editor, that looks cool, would love to play with that.



Sucks badly - so many nice games and I dont have any money to get them. Car just shat its xxxxxx clutch too so even less likey I will be getting one any time soon. They will be budget titles when I get to play them

I found life to become very down right depressing once out of the vault I have to say.

I roamed around for a hr or 2, visited the local 'town' and got killed by a supermutant in the pitch black.

Wont be playing this one again
