Manhunt 2.....

Post by thai boxer »

Never got released over here (or Europe) as they banned it straight away for being too violent and gory.

My mate has just got back from Canada...and bought me a copy for my PSP!!

Its cool. :thumleft:

yup, I have it on Wii, PS2 and PSP   :thumleft:

Great game but shouldnt have been banned. Theres films thats worse, the only reason they banned this over similar gory films was because your controlling the character :( .

Damn right! They've released it in other countries but with a 'censor' on the kills. You can get a patch for the PSP version that takes this off:

http://pspslimhacks.com/manhunt-2-uncensored-patch/

How exactly do you use it? Never done it before.

Not to sure how you use it on the Retail disk version, Infact I dont think you can. I think you can only use it on the ISO copy.

Im guessing your PSP is standard? and running the standard firmware or have you hacked it yet :thumleft:

If its hacked then download the ISO of the game which is legal as you own the original  and then patch it. If your PSP is standard then we need to get it hacked with a non standard firmware that allows you to runs backups off the memory stick

It got banned cause even though they put 18 all over these games the powers that be still view games as for children. I doubt the shops ask under 18's for id either! Sad though, there's far most disturbing films around than games.

True mate....but GAME do ask for ID if a game is an 18 and the buyer looks younger.

I honestly believe that if a game, with an 18 certificate can be banned then any film that is deemed as violent should also be banned. There really is no difference IMO between playing a game and watching a film.

That won't happen so they should stop banning the games.

No chance mate. A game like that with next-gen graphics....  ...it would never get through the censors.

Manhunt 1 and 2 were last gen games, not made for the current gen.
