Its the 'panic effect' that they do so well. Limited ammo, limited weapons, close quarter combat and hordes of enemies!

The first 50 games were all good but they really changed it with RE4, made it a lot more user friendly and FAR better controls!

RE5 is looking DAMN GOOD!! 8)

What console did they start life on, PS1?

I bought it, played Fifa, didnt like anything else then sold it.

Pretty much the same with a PS2 and then had a huge gao from consoles till the 360 not only came out but established itself.

Tbh, getting the same vibe from the PS3 but only because I already have a 360.

It's quite awkward on the wii to be honest, you can't side step which is a right pain. You just have to run in to a room and slowly turn round while you can hear the ghoulies bearing down on you.
Mind you, I've had it one day so I might grow to love it :thumleft:

You've never been able to side step in the RE games, that's always been part of the charm of them :thumleft:

Resi4 was awesome on the PS2, just a bit better on the Wii due to the control system. Still worth having, mind.

I'll never forget the first time I played Resi2 and saw the Licker crawl across the window for the first time... *shudders* Definitely one of the best moments in gaming over the last 15 years.

im not likin the graphics on this
and i HATE how on resi 4 u cant blow off limbs, wtf?! resi 1, 2 and 3 u could blow off arms, legs and heads it was awsome but now theyve dumbed it down but why?
also to quick turn 180° on the wii version press the C or the Z (not 100% on which 1) and down together and u will turn 180° in half a second :thumleft:
