[Mk2] [NA] Mongoose Cat back and full system - Need opinions and sound clips please

Post by MrSix »

I'm considering a mongoose exhaust for my car however when I heard Rogue's race cars running the mongoose system with de-cat I was put off by how loud they were.
It will be a daily driver and so I can't have it booming away on the motorway and becoming intrusive in to the cabin (the cone filter I have is already loud enough!).

Does anybody have a sound clip of a MK2 NA running a mongoose cat back system? Or even better is there anybody in the Coventry or Warwickshire area with one that I can come listen to?

Thanks in advance guys and girls.

I just don't like the angle that the blueflame exits at, that's all :(

Just modify your rear spats to compliment the angle and it looks great. :thumleft:

it is a really good exhaust well made and looks very good, i didnt want the all noise and no go sound i think this is perfect in saying that mine is 6 months old now and sounds a little louder than when first installed but does not have that horrible drone which i like no headaches in my cabin.

defo the best maybe i might change tailpipes when its a bit older and get new ones welded on if i get bored with it a decent welder could do this, but then i would lose the life time warranty i dont mind the angle. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
