Maybe once I have done a couple more less intimidating days I'll book Snetterton

Eesh don't worry, I did Snetterton as my first ever trackday, was snail slow and still had fun :D Second time I did it I was faster :p If I'm ok for this one it will only be the third time I've been there.

javelin appear to list people by how many trackdays they've done, just because someone spends every weekend on the track doesn't mean they can drive! if you are worried about being too fast or slow it might be best to go for a sessioned trackday where they group you by vehicle and experience

I look at it from the point of view that I'd rather share a track with experts than novices as experts are less likely to do something stupid.

Good point, although too late, I've got to work on that day now ](*,)
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

I dissagree.

At BaT we run very successful novice days and mixed experience days.

We find it's the "intermediates" that cause most of the problems.
More often than none they think they are better than they really are.

We also get a number of issues from seasoned racers who have more track time than most trackdayers. These guys often tend to arrempt to treat the day as a test day and ignor rules - especially the overtaking ones [-X

At BaT all drivers who break the rules are cautioned, if they continue to break the rules after they are cautioned, they are sent home. The amount of track experience does not influence the decision.
