[FINALIZED] Rev 3 Carribean Blue MR2 Turbo - SOLD

1993 (L) Toyota MR2 turbo t-bar. Approx 63,000 miles on the clock, came from Magnum Motors (fully converted to miles when imported).

In top condition both mechanically and cosmetically. Just had the front bonnet, front and rear bumper and wings resprayed. 17 inch alloys, snorkel, non standard side-skirts and bumper which were already on there when imported.

Interior: Half leather seats, Auto-gauges, Momo steering wheel, custom dash etc - loads of bits and pieces have been done to the inside to make it look nice

The mods that I have done to the engine since I have had it are fuel cut defencer only. A boost gauge, turbo timer, and fuel/air flow monitoring system were already fitted when I purchased the car.

The car has an MOT until end of December and tax until October.

and out of interest...as your car's a rev3, why do you have a fuel cut defender fitted?

I took my car to Whifbitz and they fitted the FCD because the engine kept cutting out when the revs got to a certain level on high boost....

I am looking for offers at the moment... not got a specific price in mind... If you are interested, make me an offer

So I had a nasty experience with some black ice... All that needs to be done to fix her up is a new bumper and to fix the drivers side headlight which is damaged and not coming up.

I am still thinking of selling her for personal reasons...

So if anyone is interested let me know... a years MOT and tax plus a new XS Power exhaust fitted a few months ago.

Only thing is that the engine management light has just started to come on sometimes - so if anyone has any advice on what to do about that I would appreciate it - I live in Woking, Surrey, so not sure best place to go.

worth notong thats a toms rear spoiler aswell, arguably the best mr2 spoiler available.lol. rare too. good luck with the sale now.

still no mention of what boost the car has been running to require a fuel cut defender on a rev 3?

I Would have said a number above 16psi, which is the fuel cut for a 93+ car. (correct me if i'm wrong) and a FCD raises that Cut to about 17.7 PSI
Anything more and the fuel cut system has to be removed completely i think? (again correct me if i'm wrong)

But if the car is not Cutting out with a FCD fitted then it sounds like its not running "unsafe" boost pressures, i'm sure the owner can confirm this.
