Warhawk rage!

Post by Pete »

I have got back into playing Warhawk since the fallen star release, and have been doing quite well recently, getting a few decent scores.

Today I was playing CTF on the Badlands map, and put the flag down 3 times, and got loads of kills so ended up with 230 points, 8 ribbons and a medal (Warhawk team). It was probably my best all round game to date (CTF offensive and defensive merits), was quite chuffed with myself, then when waiting for the next round to begin the server goes down. None of my stats from the round just finished were recorded at all!!

I don't usually bother that much about stats, but this really wound me up because I was really on fire ](*,)

LOL yes, I did dust off the PS3, downloaded that pacific rim motorstorm demo to have a look at it.

Was quite good fun really, though didn't seem to be really any different than the original motorstorm in many respects. Mind you it did seem like a new game as i haven't played the original one for a very long time..

Remember when we had a stonking time on Warhawk doing Zones.... great teamwork, we absolutely annilihated the opposition. :+:

When my PC broke I picked up a copy of Warhawk to try and fill the BF2 void, it's not really doing the trick but probably because I suck :)

Would like to get more time on it though so post up if you are planning any sessions, I'm an easy stat :thumleft:

It took me a while to get into it, it seems like everyone else is a General for quite a while  . I needed a lot of practice to be able to pilot the Warhawks without getting shot down immediately

I was quite a fan of zones as i enjoyed defending zones and taking out the warhawks with teh turrets.

Mind you attacking can be quite fun too. I started with the Warhawks but quickly learnt that to a large extent I preferred the ground battle.

I may well pick it up again soon.

Michael if you haven't already done so add your username to the list. :+:

Check again, It doesn't always update your stats instantly and can take a few hours

I think mine have been lost forever, still hasn't updated. A slight consolation was that I got my best score on Tau crater last night, still only a measly 172 points

Make sure you do, i'm enjoying it more since I have come back to it, especially the new jet packs - they have grown on me.

I had to stop playing it before, I knew I was playing too much after I had a dream that I cluster bombed the Big brother house in a Warhawk
