I now have bought a Wii so I can play here now too??

I get it tomorrow and I'm very excitied It comes with a few games and I've already bought guitar hero 3 for it so I have my funky guitar ready and waiting

Can you get more songs for it if you want? I don't know how any of this gaming malarky works yet last console I owned actually was the C64

I can't wait to play on it tomorrow what are good games to get?

Mario Kart if ya like racing.

Just look in the top 10 game charts on somewhere like www.gameplay.co.uk and then have a google and see what you like.

I want a wii fit, I'll probably get one next month. I've already got wii play and wii sports and I think some sort of olympic games one. And brain training and of course I got guitar hero today so I'll be set for wee while I'm sure

As far as I'm aware there is no downloadable content for the Wii version of Guitar Hero 3 yet.

Is Rock Band out yet for it? That has LOADS of DL's on XBox Live.

IIRC the Wii is wireless ennabled, do you have wireless broadband?
Can you DL demo's from the Wii online function like on XBL and PSN?

the wii doesnt have demos because it doesnt have any decent storage.

jus memory cards for game saves.

Woo, my wii is so much fun! I've been playing on it heaps today and I love guitar hero 3, I'm getting the hang of it now I guess the more I play the more songs I unlock.
I'm also enjoying the tennis and the boxing

I saw rock band for the wii in Tesco today, is that just like guitar hero?

I've no idea about downloading stuff yet, it does have sections I haven't checked out yet. Yeah I have wireless interenet so I guess it can connect

Is there any good shoot em up style games for the wii? All the games seem kiddie kind of games (nothing wrong with that though ), I used to love playing doom and unreal tournament on the pc when I was a whipper snapper so I wonder if there is anything like that for the wii?

Or you can get other bits and do full band up to two guitars, drums and microphone!

Or play as each one seperately.

Dunno if the Wii has as much as the 360 and PS3 but it has a MASSIVE track listing and I prefer the songs on it to GH3.

If you can wait a little while (nov) get GH world tour, like rockband it has drums, mic, guitars, BUT and its a big BUT the songs on the game are the best yet for GH/rockband and the instruments are far cooler looking and probably more reliable than rockband pap

Subjective! More songs on Rock Band take my fancy than any of the Guitar Hero games. Not to mention on the 360 at least, there is huge amounts of download songs that also take my fancy. The only song pack I have downloaded for GH2 or 3 so far is the Foo Fighter one. Other than that it's just the freebies.
