[Mk2] [Turbo] hesitation coming on boost.

ok heres my problem, if i put my foot down at low revs wen i get to 3000rpm the car goes flat and hesitates til about 4k and then it pulls but still feels like timing is bein pulled back.

If i go slowly thro the revs on no boost til 4k and then putmy foot down the car pulls like a train.

ive changed ht leads, spark plugs, rotor arm, dizzy cap, air flow meter. ive made sure everythings done up nice and tight. even changed bov thinkin that had broke.

Could it be the lamda sensor??? turbo on its way out??? im really out of ideas.

The Lambda sensor will be ignored when you are flooring it, have you checked the ignition timing?

yes mate that was checked a couple of months ago.

Does it still do it when its warmed up?

Try resetting the ECU.

yeah it was doin it wen warmed up. i had checked for fault codes and there werent any. anyway 2day on way home from work i pulled over all pulled the fuses out to reset ecu. WOW!!!!!! the car runs awesome. its never felt so fast. cheers for all the help.

If reseting the ecu has solved it and there were no error codes theres a good chance that it had detected knock at some point, once detected it can take several knock free pulls at that rev range it was detected for it to feel safe again.

Anyway if it starts doing it again it maybe something to look into.
