[Mk2] [Turbo] Steering Rack Gaiters

Hi all

The steering rack gaiters on my tubby are split, where do people buy theirs from? I've had a look on Camskill but can't find any... my dad has offered to get some for me from a motor factors but I wasn't sure if they are special ones or if I'd be better getting some decent ones from a specific company??

I did this yesterday on my tubby! Got the pair of gaiters from a motor factors... £8 for the pair! Bargain! They were pretty easy to fit, and they are pretty much exactly the same as the toyota ones! Got the MOT retest tomorrow, and that's all my car needed, so should be good for another year now!

Just get them from amotor factors, they're only bits of rubber at the end of the day!

Don't forget that you need to take the rack arms out of the track rod ends to get the gaiters off/on, which means marking up the track rods so you know where they were.. or just get the tracking re-done once you've fitted them.
