Max,

Why don't you join us, can meet up on the Tuesday morning in Colwyn Bay.

Actally, I'm being a bit rude, if anyone wants to join us anywhere on the tour then you are more than welcome, on Tuesday we are staying @ the Webley Hotel in Cardigan Bay out towards the Poppit Sands overlooking the Teifi Estuary which has it's own pub and restaurant, please feel free to join us, we don't bite much

Might hear from one or too of you then :+: :+:

Hey Bill, good to hear from you, missing everyone already

You're right though will seem very odd on our lonesome up in the hills, only the sheep and mountains to gaze at, would rather it was 16 MR2's but hey, already looking forward to the BIG APPLE TOUR next year

Take it easy Bill and good luck with the engine swap.

I loved Wales beginning of this year. I went with the Midlands run to Wales meet Rhonda always organizes.. Last year I went with a Renault Clio, this year with the MK1 T-Bar... Had lovely weather, even better roads and a sun burn even Stephen from the MR2 Magazine can remember ;)

Wales rocks, go for it!

just got back off my holls from NW wales and what a great place to drive round it is! the roads are so smooth but are very steep and winding, cant complain with the great views though.
only saw one mk1 while i was there and it happened to be a light blue one just like yours aw11 forever! you didn't happen to travel down the B4391 into Ffestiniog did you?

Haha!!!

Yea, that was indeed us! we didn't see you, were you in the MK1..... no you can't have been, we would have spotted you.

Oh, but what an amazing place, definately want to go and do another tour next year, maybe we can get an organised trip sorted with a 1 night stay, came across a superb hotel in Crickhowell with loads of off street parking.

I love those welsh roads. We've just been on a similar trip in scotland on single track stuff. the MK1's look great with stunning scenery as a backdrop.
