I just called white rabbit racing and they told me they are only taking bookings up to 4pm today. I'm still undecided as I will probably try to stay up for the duration so may try and save some money :D

Well, I'll be leaving mine at about 10am on Saturday. I've no idea how long it'll take to get in but I'll be coming from Whittlebury direction rather than the A43. I'd suggest we meet up once we're inside the grounds, as depending when people arrive they'll be directed to different car parks / entrances.
Oh BTW, BBC Weather is currently showing no rain for the weekend. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2688

We'll be there from tomorrow afternoon.

I'm even easier to pick out of a crowd now cos I'll be in a wheelchair. Harder to spot though cos I'm low down :D

If you've not yet organised camping you can always bring a sleeping bag anyway and sit in it up in the grandstands at Woodcote. It's under cover with a great view of the circuit and no-one will really notice if you drift off to sleep for an hour or two

Anyone received any details on what is/isn't allowed on site during the event? Food / Booze / BBQs etc? there do not appear to be any regulations / terms / conditions on the Britcar website, or anything specific on the Silverstone website? There is camping on site afterall (White-Rabbit)

I'll be arriving Saturday ~8AM

Greetings from Silverstone! We're out for day qualifying in an hour or so and afterwards I'll try and upload some photos.

Testing went well yesterday and we're ginding that the car is lighter on both fuel and tyres than we'd hoped! We're getting to grips with the different driving style for endurance racing rather than the shorter sprints we're used too. The MR-S is also a very different animal and we've got far more grip than we've got power. We're able to brake much later and corner much faster than anyone else in our class that tested yesterday so again we're learning to use that to our advantage.

AFAIK there are no restrictions on booze - put please enjoy sensibly - and barbecues must be of the free standing variety. No disposables!

Access to the garages is restricted but we've set up our marquees just outside. We're in garage 10c. You will be permitted in the garage as long as you're supervised and we're not at panic stations so please come and introduce yourself!

If we've got some time later we'll post some pictures up.

Cheers,

Patrick

Um, thinking about it, there will be. There was parking left over for the F1 qualifying, and that was on a Saturday... this is testing for a far less publicised event!

On a different note, PM me your mobile number and your expected arrival time!
