New 17” alloys added to the car which makes it look good – 4 new tyres

people may disagree, but that car has been ruined. The interior is just gross, yes alot of time and money gone into it. But your stepping into an mr2, its got some character and a history, but instead there is pink and beige leather which is grotesc, you dont expect to see that in a mr2!

Its been on there at least 3 times now. It even went up to £2,800! I would love to be able to get £1500 when I sell mine!

those seats do look dreadfull how come its been listed so many times on ebay with no reserve? withdrawn before the auction has ended

Ive seen it a few times ,Ive seen a few other cars (not mr2s) on ebay for auction requesting a large paypal deposit before collection and ive seen them listed over and over again ,looks like a scam when theyre just relisted all the time

perhaps the condition is just great in the owners eyes as usual lol

I've never understood the "NO RESERVE!!!!!11ONE!!!!" thing when people put up a high start price like that... erm your reserve is £2000, it's not like it's a £0.01 start (although it might sell then).

i dont like it at all i think its been spoilt

as for underneath thats just blackwax underseal you spray any car weither its rusty or not and it looks like that

mine looks like that underneath but it certainly isnt rust free

you know going down that road of making your car look like a ferrari instead of an mr2 ,not my scene i'm afraid ,anybody thats ever driven a ferrari from the mr2 mk1 era would say stick with the mr2 they were wallowing old hectors and pretty low quality with there fiat switch gear

2000 is too much i'd say half that and maybe some more

originality floats my boat not pretending ,or non standard

Too many down sides to that thing to make even worthwhile considering it for even £1k
Probably close to the worst interior I've seen on any car
White carpets
17's... :-:
Underseal painted over rust ](*,)
Brake discs fitted the wrong way round [-X

And... I CBA to look at it any more...

i know you'll probably all slate me and blame it on the fact that i'm female!!! ... but i don't mind it actually :o i'm not saying i would rush out and buy it and i think it is a bit pricey but if i saw it out and about or at a show or something, i don't think i'd hate it, in fact i'd probably be intruiged by it's novelty factor. maybe that makes me a tart?!?! lol

i know the interior isn't to everyone's taste but it looks like it'd been done to a fairly high-spec. there's quite a few mk1s kicking about that have been super-modernised and some don't look bad actually. i know there's the great classic vs modern debate!!

i guess it's just subjective.

All i can say its i would not touch it with a barge pole

Its a disgrace to our modern day classic

Bodywork looks ok but interior is crap

Reema, Pete would shoot you for saying you like it.

But the world would be boring it we all liked the same thing.

Now Reema i dont want to see you in the next Scotland trip with this though.

lol he probably would but as he knows, we have very different ideas when it comes to cars

i wouldn't buy it, and even if i did i would be forced to come along to the next trip in pete's sc anyway. little does he know that when i get my hands on the mk2 it will be so beautiful he will want it back and wish he'd never given it to me!! :thumleft:

I think it should be called the strawberries and cream cheese cake.

This guy isn't selling it.... he just uses it as an avert for his rasberry ripple interior.

S$%t..
