Well Done Frogge

Thats spot on Michael thanks for getting the convoy sorted. We will see you guys when you arrive in the Thursday afternoon.

Alan i am sure there will be a few cans left for you mate to celebrate the launch of the new tent. Let hope its not to windy or it may be a launch right enought. Mind you cant be worse than the wind last year.

Shane,

I've been speaking to Pam @ MR2 Only magazine. I will supply them with the pictures, can you do the report for them? I thought you might like to do it as you have been the organiser.

Let me know, cheers

I'd also be happy to help out with pictures/writing if needed for either of the mags... (I know Karl would love a report for the Mk1 club mag)

Sasha's just pointed out to me that she didn't book next Wednesday off work (the 10th). So that's possibly mucked things up a bit. She's gonna see what she can do... :(
Plus my car is making life difficult for me again. :x

Michael, can you PM me your mobile number?

Michael/Max

I think we can handle a couple of Articles one for Mr2 Only and Mk1 mag

Michael you are already in charge of photos for the trip as we spoke about before and i am sure max will put in a few snaps.

Perhaps we could do one each Max (Mind you your winning awards for Yours :-k Well done on that by the way)

Max i think Sasha may have to feel ill for the wed that week

Re the car. It would be nice to see you both in a 2 ( Yours or Sashas) but it will just be nice to see you in any car (Peugeot Included)

See you Thursday

Shane

PS - That reminds me i need to pay my subs for the Mr2 only mag

 Deffo not coming in the Pug mate! As much as I love that car... No.

Not coming in my '2 either. So nearly there, but injured my left hand on Tuesday working on it. Hand is now bandaged up and when I tried finishing off work on the '2 yesterday it just wasn't gonna happen... :(

Cannot currently change gear in the car or operate camera lens either (or type, but luckily I'm still quite fast one-handed... ;) ) so a bit worried at the moment. Will be calling in to surgery again on Tuesday for an update; hopefully bruising will have gone by then and the hand will be useable...

Great timing, eh?

Edit: Oh...

Guys, can I ask a HUGE favour?

I've been doing the mapping for the run up to Shanes, 6 hours 24 minutes and a distance of 302 miles. Whilst looking at the route I noticed it takes up the beautiful A93 road past the Spittal of Glenshee. Joannes dad died 5 years ago today and we scattered his ashes at a sight right on the main road in Glenshee, it would be wonderful for her if we could stop for 15 minutes or so whilst she walks 2 minutes off the main road to the spot where we buried his ashes and laid some flowers, it would be exactly 5 years to the day when we did this.
There is a place at the side of the road where we will all be able to stop and the view up there is superb. I think she will probably want to be alone whilst she did this so it would give everyone a 15 minute opportunity to stretch their legs a little. If someone could have the Kleenex ready for when we return, that would be great.
I hope nobody minds, it's just something that I feel we need to do and it would mean the world to Joanne.

Thanks you very much :thumleft:

Directions to Shanes from my home in Durham, please print yourself a copy just in case we get split up anywhere. I've chosen this route for a number of reasons, firstly it's shorter by 25 miles and takes 40 minutes less. Another reason is we avoid Aberdeen where we all got split up last year going through roundabouts and through traffic lights.

Alan

Sorry to hear about the scratch mate.

I think a trip to the Polich shop is required for a batch to finish it off and a nice summer evening putting it on

See you around 11 but you will get me on the mobile if you have any problems.

Got my car all polished ready to go now myself.

But my Caliper paint did not arrive in time so thats now out :(

Never mind see you all soon

Hey guys just a bit of Info

Andy Roxby and Crystay are going to make a DVD of the trip when they join us on Saturday morning for the Skye Island Trip and the Applecross on Sunday.

He's a real top bloke and many of you would have met him on the Sunday last year with his mint red Mk2.

They made a DVD for the last Aberdeenshire run and its spot on.

Cheers for that guys. I am looking forward to that already.
