Did mine this weekend, was really surprised, took me about 2.5 hours all in! :D no intercooler on my car so maybe that made it easier.

I think the one nut you mention that doesnt go on was ok to do if you make sure the stud only just pokes through before trying to screw it on.

I do have an annoying rattle now though when I am on at least partial throttle so I need to take some time out to check everything again.

The volume is exactly the same as when I had my Rogue d/p on the car except now I know its probably not going to crack :D dead chuffed!

Thinking about it, I was helped a lot as Luke only put the previous d/p on about 8 months ago so it was all nice and easy to get off :thumleft:

That's what it only took 2.5 hours, he will have done it properly so it was easy to get on and off again cos believe me, the first time you take off the cat and put a downpipe on, that's a WHOLE Saturday or Sunday gone. Nice one though. I had the same problem with a rattle. It turned out I hadn't retightened one of the bolts between the flexi and the downpipe when I had loosened them all to line it up. I would check it's not catching on the heatsheilds either, especially the Berk ones as the flexi really catches on them unless you flatten the sheild with a hammer

Good call, as the engine leans under load they could be rubbing. SHouldnt be a big deal if its that :thumleft:

No worries mate, hope that sorts your problem. It was manufactured and designed brilliantly....but I think somebody forgot to actually fit it onto the MR2, either that or the heatsheilds were missing in the first place as they would have noticed it straight away. But aye, our engine mounts are kicking on a bit, could be rubbing slightly under load like you say. I say get the mallet out
