Very clean Mk1b Mr2, White (price dropped - again, and again)

Post by flak monkey »

My excellent condition Mk1 is up for sale. Basically my circumstances have changed since I bought it which now means I am doing too many miles, far too many for a 21yr old very good condition Mk1!

There is no structural or bodywork rust anywhere on this car. It is very reliable, and I have covered over 6000 miles in the past 5 months without a single issue.

BTTT

I should mention that the apparent 'muck' on the underside of the engine cover lid is just some waxoil that a previous owner has applied ](*,)

Very nice mate, don't suppose you need any parts off my crashed helios then?? lol

Please send me a PM when it's coming up for sale and I'll see how much I've managed to get in the post-crash fund.

Cheers

One of the outstanding jobs is completed now: The rear wings were just beginning to show a light amount of rust on the return/inner lips, I have just had that fixed professionally, stripped to bare metal, rust removed, primed, topcoated. Lip edge undersealed to 2-3mm across the lip to prevent water ingress between inner and outer wing panels.

A long, time consuming process but it will cure the rust indefinately.

Will post some more detailed pics to photobucket in a week or so to show just how good this car is.

All the work that this car has had done on it has been done properly, no corners cut/time spared. What you see is what you get :) The number of positive comments this car gets is unbelievable.

Brad, you are first to show interest, will PM you once its all finished off.

If anyone wants to see anything in particular, let me know.

There will be more of the interior to come when I get my seat back.

David

Bump.

I am open to offers on this car, the seats will be refitted in a week and the car is then available to any buyer, I will put some photos up this afternoon of the passenger seat which is completed.

I would ideally like to sell in the next month or so due to personal circumstances requiring a more 'practical' daily driver which I cannot afford until the MR2 is sold. :(

David

I know, its a bargain for someone, the first person to see it will buy it, its a beaut.

Even had the drivers seat restitched and both restored, so its now immaculate inside and out and mechanically/structurally as solid as it looks. Not had any interest yet though.... :(
